Jaimala
Jaimala, also known as Varmala in some traditions, refers to the exchange of floral garlands between the couple and is an important part of many North Indian Hindu wedding ceremonies. The garlands themselves can become a major visual feature, with flowers, colours and designs chosen to complement the couple's outfits and the ceremony setting. Inspiration can therefore include garland styles, floral arrangements, stage designs and mandap styling.
